Creek during summer at Jalu Foundation’s *Osel Jalu Dorje Retreat Center* | Viroqua Area, Wisconsin USA

Osel Jalu Dorje or “Luminosity of the Indestructible Rainbow Body” is Jalu Foundation’s 84-acre retreat land (spiritual hermitage) for future long term practice retreats and advanced practice retreats for Khaying’s more dedicated students. Osel Jalu Dorje is located in the Driftless Region of rural Southwest Wisconsin, USA—hidden amidst a town of under 600 people in the Viroqua Area, among rural farming communities and Amish communities.

Our current fundraising efforts are focused on building practice retreat cabins at Osel Jalu Dorje; and a meditation center, general practice hall, student lodging and practice retreat cabins at Jalu Gar or “Gathering Place of Rainbow Bodies,” our 260-acre campus, located 7 minutes from Osel Jalu Dorje.

Note: Osel Jalu Dorje and Jalu Gar are private properties and are not open to the public. Invited guests, with permission and scheduled appointments, are welcome. Please respect “No Trespassing,” “No Hunting” and “No Fishing” signs posted along our property boundary lines. Osel Jalu Dorje and Jalu Gar are wildlife and animal sanctuaries. The wild animals (including fish and insects) who live on and frequent our land, creek, river and wetlands are honored and protected with traditional ceremonial practices.
